Q:  Do you repair computers?

A:  Yes we do.  We repair any PC, notebook, or netbook, regardless of brand, including custom builds.  We do not, however, work on Macintosh Brand computers.


Q:  Is there a minimum fee for having my computer looked at?

A:  Yes, there is a $45.00 diagnostic fee.  However, this fee is waived if you should decide to get work done through us.  If we diagnose it and you decide not to get work done, only a diagnostic fee is owed.


 Q: Do I have to pay for each day you have my computer?

A: Absolutely not.  All of our services have set prices that wont change, whether your computer is here for one day or one month.


 Q:  How do you determine the hourly labor total?

A:  We only charge you for the time one of our techs is physically working on your computer.  We also charge in 15min sections.  


Q:  After I drop my computer off, how long will it take for it to be done?

A:  This depends highly on the service you are getting. We strive to diagnose your computer within 48 hours.  For virus removal, it usually takes a few days depending on the serverity of the infection.  However, depending on how busy we are, services can take longer due to the amount of computers in queue.


Q:  I need my computer back ASAP.  How can I make my computer repair top priority?

A:  For situations like this, we have a $50.00 rush fee that will be added on to your total bill.  The rush fee assures that your computer will be put at the front of the line to be worked on and will be top priority for our techs.


Q: Do I have to pay up front for services?

A:  The only thing you need to pay up front is for hardware to be ordered.  Otherwise, you don't owe us anything until you pick up your computer.


Q:  You have finished repairing my computer, but something came up and I don't have all the money to pay for the services.  Do you have a payment plan option so I can still pick up my computer?

A:  We understand that unforseen circumstances come up and we try to help you out as much as we can.  Because of past problems with financing/payment plans, we can't let you take your computer until the full bill has been paid.  As long as you keep in contact with us and make small payments as you can, we will hold your computer for you.  However, if we don't hear from you within 60 days, your computer will become the property of Cam's Computers.


Q:  I just picked up my computer, but something still seems wrong with it.  Can I bring it back in?

A:  Yes, please give us a call and if we can help you over the phone, we will. Otherwise, feel free to bring your computer back in and we'll look at it free of charge.


Q:  I have an antivirus program, but I'm still infected.  How is this possible?

A:  Even the best of antivirus programs aren't 100% perfect.  As viruses become more complex, the antivirus developers must update their programs to defend against newer viruses.  Though they aren't perfect, an antivirus program is still essential for your protection, and you should not connect to the internet without one.
